We encourage every family to find a meaningful way to be involved and to contribute to the St. Joseph School community in time, treasure, and talent. We expect parents, grandparents, and guardians to feel a sense of ownership in our school and to support our policies and traditions so that we can create a seamless experience for our students. Families are invited to help in a number of ways — serve as a room parent, help as a recess supervisor or library assistant, support at special events, and cheer from the sidelines at sporting events or extracurricular activites. The partnership we have with parents and guardians is a great deal of fun and a vital part of our mission.
The Archdiocese of Chicago requires all volunteers to complete the "Protecting God's Children" training program before working with students. A certificate of completion must be on file in the St. Joseph School office.
