St. Joseph Digital Citizen Vision
We at St. Joseph School understand that the internet has become a part of our everyday lives. We believe it is important to educate our students on how to use the internet safely, responsibly and respectfully. As a school, our vision is to create students who are digitally aware of what they do and to give them tools in order to be a positive force on the internet. Through Common Sense Media, St. Joseph School will teach our students to harness the skills to make good decisions when using technology. To accomplish this, each year our students will receive at least 3 hours of instruction on how to become responsible digital citizens.
Common Sense Media helps families make smart media choices. They offer the largest, most trusted library of independent age-based and educational ratings and reviews for movies, games, apps, TV shows, websites, books, and music. Parent Concerns and Parent Blog help families understand and navigate the problems and possibilities of raising children in the digital age.
